The Rubberbandits, are an award winning theater act who use a mixture of, music, performance, video and social media to deliver ideas into peoples heads using their socially engaged artistic form known as, Gas Cuntism.

Over the past ten years the, Rubberbandits, have gone from an underground act to an international one. From IFTA award winning comedy songs and sketches on, RTE, Channel4 and ITV, to amassing youtube views in excess of 50 million. Their live show has won awards at the ,Edinburgh Fringe festival. The act has consistently balanced the seemingly incompatible worlds of comedy, entertainment and art. They were the first entertainment act ever to headline, Londons Shakespeares Globe theater, and in 2014 they represented Ireland, at the, Venice Biennialle alongside Sean Lynch.

MICHAEL WINSLOW – The Man of 10,000 Sound Effects –  had an unforgettable role in the movies “Police Academy” I through VII. As soon as the first film was released, it became an instant success and so did Michael.  He then went to play a part in Mel Brook’s “Spaceballs”, cementing his position as a comedic icon. Michael was also heard, but not seen, when he gave the voice to Stripe, the evil little creature in the hit Movie “Gremlins.” Michael also did voice-overs for, Disney and Universal Studios in rides such as “Back to the Future and “Terminator.” He can also be heard in the television hits Robot Chicken” and “Family Guy. Michael, a master of vocal gymnastics, can imitate over 10,000 sound effects using his voice alone. Whether he is recreating the frenzy of, Jimi Hendrix, playing the guitar or the roar of a jet plane, his talent and versatility is truly remarkable.
